Traditions

 Every family has thier own Christmas traditions.

 Some of my favourite revolve around food, starting with the advent calender with little hard chocolate morsels. I never said it was good, just tradition. 

  Christmas food is about comfort and nostalgia,  I used to love my grandmas jellied carrot salad, made with lime jello. It was my favorite part of the christmas feast. 

As I got older it was about cabbage rolls, and perogies, hand made with love in the weeks leading up to Christmas, and turkey with all the fixings. 

  Decorating sugar cookies was always a day of fun and creativity, I like to think I have gotten better at presenting a finished product, but i am still not an artist. And my kids and neices and nephews helping make the event that much better.
